Scuba Training Courses - WHAT IS THE COST?

The cost of your dive course will vary on the options offered by your dive centre, so make sure you understand everything included in your course before deciding.

The cheapest course may not always be the best value for money. However, generally you should expect to pay around $600 for a dive course & certification.Some dive centres will enhance their course with weekends away, extra dives, boat dives or discounts on equipment, all of which are worth considering as they will make the experience more enjoyable.

Whatever options you choose, you'll love every minute of your diving! Once you are a certified diver, you can either hire your gear (approx $50-$100/day) or buy your own. Once you have your gear, it is approx $7 for a tank refill. A cheap price to pay for an awesome adventure in diving!
